Will I get back all my photos?
Headshot sessions do receive a proof gallery with 1 retouch per look.
What makes my Portrait Sessions different is that I will edit and retouch the BEST images in a curated gallery for you. No raws or proofs are delivered.
This is similar to a commercial shoot approach, in which the creative director or photographer selects the most engaging images.
You'll receive your retouched final gallery within 10 days, and it'll be ready to use!
What should I wear for my headshots?
Stick to solid colors, neutrals, or tones that complement your skin and eyes. Avoid busy patterns or large logos. Bring a few options so we can choose together!
How should I do my makeup and hair?
Keep makeup natural and close to how you look on your best day. Skin should look fresh, not overly glam unless your brand or character calls for that. Hair should be styled as you typically wear it, but polished.
Do you provide hair and makeup services?
Professional hair and makeup is optional but highly recommended for a polished, camera-ready look. I can recommend trusted artists who are familiar with headshot styling. I'll do my best to make sure flyaways and oily skin are kept at bay during your shoot.
How long will the session take?
Most headshot sessions take between 45 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on the package, wardrobe changes, and how comfortable you feel in front of the camera. More looks means more allocated time. If you're hiring a professional MUA, you should account for 30-60 minutes for styling and application.
When will I receive my photos?
Your proofing gallery is usually ready within 3–5 business days. Once you select your favorites, final retouched images are delivered within 7–10 business days.
Do you retouch the images?
Yes! Depending on your chosen package, I provide natural, true-to-you retouching—think skin smoothing, blemish removal, flyaway cleanup, and color correction without changing how you actually look.
Can you help with posing?
Absolutely. I guide you through posing, expressions, and small adjustments throughout the shoot so you never feel awkward or lost.
What if I’m not photogenic or I feel nervous?
Almost everyone says this at first! My job is to create a relaxed environment and coach you so that your natural confidence comes through on camera.
Also - I promise you look beautiful. It's my job to help you see that. :)
